Did you guys have to run wires for the vtec solenoid, vtec pressure switch and knock sensor on your cars? It might vary from 97 to 98/99...

so the wires for the vtec solenoid, did you have to run them or were they already there because of the f22b1? and the vtec pressure, there wasn't one already ran from the f22 vtec? that's what I've been trying to figure out... it's confusing the hell out of me...

I just found an article on a site that states that if your car is an accord ex (with f22b1) which is the same as the CL, that you don't need to add the wire for the vtec pressure switch because it's already supposed to be there....not sure if it's 100% true though...

nah, im not doing the swap, just trying to figure out the mess the mechanics left when they swapped out my f22b1 for the f23a1... I wish I would do the swap but it's not in my budget...

chances are you dont have a knock senson Matt. Our cars dont have one therefore the actual plug is missing. The pressure switch i believe you have to run and the vtec selenoid is a simple plug in.

the thing that's confusing me the most is that last night I saw a friend of mine and he has an f22b1 in his old prelude that he converted to obd2... his vtec solenoid and pressure switch assembly is the exact same as mine so what I don't get is why we wouldn'T be wired for the pressure switch if our cars came with it from the factory and to the best of my knowledge it has to be plugged in for vtec to engage... it must be hiding somewhere... do any of you guys have the ecu pinouts for the factory cl ecu (p6w)... I've been looking everywhere without success...
