Attn: CALI 3.0 cL’s ...
R&D department @ Tein USA located in Downey, CA is looking for a first gen. 3.0 cL to test fit some Damper Kits [Note: first gen. 3.0 cL only].
From what I’ve been told, the test fit research will result in seeing what types of Damper Kits that Tein USA will be trying to develope for our first gen. cL’s. [Damn, imagine Tein having an application[s] for our first gen. cL’s].
Some of the Damper Kits that Tein offers are the Type Basic Damper, Super Street [SS] Damper, Type Flex Damper, Super Street [SS-P] Damper w/ Pillowball Upper Mounts.
For the first gen. 2.2 and 2.3 cL’s, nothing has been said yet.
But I will keep you posted if I hear any news concerning the 2.2 and 2.3 cL's.
Pm me if you have any Questions in regards to this.

I guess to make it application specific, yeah. I could have swore I saw a group buy for 1st gen Tein SS's. Maybe not, I probably blocked it out cuz I wouldnt spend that much money on suspension for my car.

actually, the 3.0's are a few hundred pounds heavier. It's a big difference.
I'm also interested, but I assume they want a car w/ stock shocks

NOOOOOOO! They want a 3.0 that is COMPLETELY STOCK! Darn, they ask for what my mods were, and I was so scared on what to reply, lol. Oh well, a few of you guys should jump on this if your stock. Thanks for the offering CL Sleeper. And goodluck to those that go through with this.

I'm actually pretty excited about this. Since I'm getting over the floaty front end of my sportlines. Hopefully they'll create something that'll slam our cars like the sportlines but will be able to handle the few hundred extra pounds that is upfront
