assistance needed / thinking of...
purchasing a 97 or 98 cl. Is this a smart reliable buy, or will i have to spend a great amount of money in repairs and maintenance? Do you recommend the 2.2, 2.3, or 3.0 cl? Is there anything to look out for in these cars? Your opinions are welcome.
TIA

I got a 98 2.3 CL. I've had it for two months, and it works great so far, no major problems at all, they're pretty reliable and beautiful vehicles. I think some of the 97's have tranny issues, but overall you should just check the car before you buy it, I would recommend getting it with a warranty of some kind from a dealer. I got about 4 more months of warranty on mine...

oops...
hey bcarlozzi,
we've had our '98 2.3cl since oct. of 2000.
it's been two great years with no problems, except
the failure of the driver's side window regulator.
aside from that... she's performed beautifully.
you won't go wrong with a 98 or 99.
although... i wish my fiance had flipped the extra cash to
get the 3.0 instead.
