Apology to KLepTo...

KLepTo paid for his door sills over a month ago. Since he paid me at the end of my semester, I told him that after school was over, I'd send his door sills. I packaged them, which I thought was safe but the post office disagreed. They won't insure items that they feel will get damaged. Does anyone have an idea of how to get these out? Anyone else experienced the same problem. Again, sorry man. Other people that purchased items off me, I got those out without any problems. I'm not trying to stiff you. Shit happens.

Dennis

If they have a tube the size of it i'd ship it in a tube filled with packing balls.

Mine arrived in a cardboard tube with metal caps. The sills were wrapped in paper or bubble wrap (I don't remember which).

Dennis, if you cant find some other method of packaging them, could I just get my money back then? save us the hassle. But if you still can somehow package them, I would like to still get them.

You could go get a piece of PVC pipe that is the right length and diameter then get some plastic pipe ends that just slide on. Tape it all up and take it to UPS, they ship anything. This was how a buddy of mine got his skis shipped from cali to idaho.

just an idea i thought i would share

how fuckin hard could it be to package door sills? Just get a flat box, slide them in. Reinforce it w/ a shit load of extra cardboard so it's stiff.
