Apexi N1 finally on!!

Its LOUD, unless your serious about getting the most hp out of your car no matter what, i dont recommened it. i really like it though. ill try to get some sound clips...the best i can describe how it sounds when i rev it is like when vin diesel does his little entrance to the first street race scene in his vielside rx-7 ( he shows up revving his engine and the guy puts up his pink slip)...its going to be real loud with my headers on...not installed yet, but soon.

AND...
when the guy was backing my car off the lift, he completely ripped off the paasenger side front bumper(it got caught on the lift some how). it was held on by a couple of plastice clips and a metal screw. the part where the screw was is screwd back up holding the bumper in place, but all the plastic clips were ripped off. should they replace my front bumper or will the screw hold it together good enough? it doesnt look damaged but there s a little gap between the bumper and the body.

It might do some squeeking on bumps... But you probably won't hear it with that exhaust of yours... Nor will anybody else...

muffler was 199.95 shipped from nleonline.com. intallation was $300. i kno i got screwed but the guy did it after the place had closed and he did an awesome job. i got a full catback exhaut 2.5", it looks perfect. doesnt sag or rattle and its not raspy at all. you can easily get it intalled for $100 but make sure you get catback not axle back. the stock piping on my 3.0 looked big but its not... its just the heat shield that surrounds the exhaut piping that makes it look big. 3.0's piping is 2" not 2.25 or 2.5 like some people have said.

$300 It cost me $75 for my apex WS cat-back to get installed and they too were about to close the shop. I begged and they did it in 15 minutes.

They might of done a good job, but they screwed your bumper up and took your money. Shit with the extra $200 or so you would have saved on install you could have bought a front lip. Sorry to hear bro.

they did the custom cat back piping. i didnt buy the full catback apexi N1 exhaust system. how did they mandrel bend the pipe and weld it on in 15 mins? it took this guy an 1hr30mins and i watched him do it. if it was a bolton system i would have done it myelf for free, why would you pay $60-$100 to intall something thats easier to intall than an intake?

If it was mandrel piping then thats not a "horrible" price. I've seen people pay more. And if they did a clean job thats all that matters. Got pics yet?

never mind, i thought that was the price you paid for them to install just the muffler or a cat-back. I didn't know they custom built the pipes. That's a decent price then. You probably could have gotten the bolt-on kit a bit cheaper, but with shipping and labor it's about the same as i paid for mine.

How could installing a cat-back be easier than installing an intake?

i wanted him to do axle back but he said the stock piping was too small and too restrictive to see any performance gains and it would be useless...when he took it off i saw what it looked like and it was pretty damn small.

Can't get mandrel bends anywhere in FL cept Miami. It was a Mom and pop shop. The install was just as good as any other place. So I'm happy.
