hey i got a apex vafc *vtec controller* which i have bought from TL_Diplomat about a month ago and my friend hooked me up with the VAFC2 for cheap so im going to get rid of this i bought it for 170,im asking for atleast 160 + shipping if any body is interested please let me know or give me a call 213-3241433......i also still have the box and have never used it everything is also labeled for easy installation....

 

whats the difference from the Vafc2 and the Vafc? and how much does it cost brand new

 

The regular VAFC goes for $245 new on e bay. The VAFC II looks a little different and is compatible with i-VTEC.

what does it actualy do?

 

It's a piggy back fuel computer and changes the VTEC engagement point. Without significant modifications and dyno tuning, you arent going to see an overall power increase. You can lower VTEC and lean out the mixture to get more power sooner however. Plus it looks neat.

 

so the vafc II is only good for i-vtec cars? and not regular vtec cars?, id buy the Vafc from you but im low on cash right now

 

I always wanted to get one just for show.. hehe

 

VAFCII will work fine on non i-VTEC cars. Just has a lot of settings you wont be using. So unless you find the look of it about $45 better, it's not worth it.
