bs, they run high 14's with intake if you can drive. low low 15's stock

my good friend has one, and you still better watch out with the h22 if your stock. my buddy has beaten the only 2 99 ludes he's raced. punks alot of gsr's too.

all cars had more or = mods than his i/e

o and yeah, i've raced him in my e/i/h 2.3. i used to take him off the line and hold hit till about 60 because he would spin for 5 seconds

now that he knows how to drive it, he kills me by like 5-6 cars to 80. not for long since i'm gettin somethin new.

BTW-specs are hard as fuck to lanch. you have to drop it at like 2k mad wheelspin is the only reason a spec will run a high 15

the advantage that those cars have along with the tsx is the close gear ratio.

I raced one on the street in early Summer.

It was modded, but I'm not sure to what extent because I didn't talk with him (I could see his aftermarket exhaust).

It was one of those races where he pulled up beside me as we were already moving. I dropped to 3rd gear about 40 mph and the nitrous kicked in. I easily pulled passed him, but then we hit some twisties. He gained on me through the curves, but then shut it down to pull into Criswell Honda (there was a car show that day).

I was impressed by his speed, especially throug the curves.

My brother has one, and I've driven it many times. They are pretty quick, especially off the line, and if you can shift they'll stomp all over a CL. Very fun cars, but not nearly as smooth as the CL.

They're pretty cheap, too. My brother's '02 (I think it's an '02) was $17K brand new. Great performance for the $$$, but after heated leather seats I don't see myself going back.

Some guy with a brand new spec-v tried to get some of my CL the other week. I handed him his ass in third gear. He soon got used to seeing the back of my car. I dont know about normal h22's but spec-v's aint got shit on my H.

I was coming home late one night and stopped at a red light next to a Spec V with a spare on! I thought it would be funny to see if the kid was dumb enough to race with a spare on. So I revved on him and sure enough when the light turned green he floored it. I thought it was hillarious

On the other hand I raced a few in my RSX-S and they couldn't really hang.

I never ran it on the track, but w/ i/h/e short shifter and hondata
flash I know people that run mid 14s.

I've also seen timeslips for stock rsx-s do a 14.9

I'd say an rsx-s would beat spec-v. Spec-v's arent that light, and 180hp is not much to brag about. I've seen an rsx-s w/ecu ugrade and an intake do low 14's all day at the track. Those spec-v's are kinda girly in my opinion.

Keep us updated - you might also want to lose some weight in your CL - the Spec V may only have 175hp but it's a whole lot lighter.

just show me a timeslip of a stock sentra doing that time, i dont doubt it, i just wont believe it till i see the slip, for the sheer reason that the gearing in those cars suck because it is so tight and such a low redline you are always shifting

Plusses
very good helical stock LSD
tight and nice 6 speed gear box

minuses, low revving motor that doesnt compliment the gear box at all

go to theVboard.com plenty of timeslips there. also you must be crazy if you think the gearing sucks thats probably the best part about that car. And the low redline is great too, because when my buddies spec races these gsr's, i hear him chirp 3rd almost at the same time the gsr chirps 2nd. Kinda hard to pull on somebuddy with close power when their in the next gear.

Quick Reply: anyone raced the Sentra Spec v before?
