Anyone with Optima batteries

I recently had to replace my alternator. After it was done, my battery light is still on and the cold cranking amps are at like 275, supposed to be at like 750- 800. I wanted to save the $150 bucks, so I researched their website, and followed all instructions with my charger. (They say they can be re-charged) Battery light is still on. Anyone recharge their Optima's or have any input on this one?
