I am interested in the OBX DTM-EX9497 Cat Back exhaust system, but am concerned about how loud and ricey it might sound. I got the OBX headers, am about to install, and was looking at doing the whole system. Anyone with a 2.2 or 2.3CL that has the cat back, that can let me know about how the system sounds? The price is obviously right, but I don't want to drive something that would be downright embarrassing.

I have done a search, but no one really comes right out and says it sounds fine or sounds like crap.

 

dunno I was looking into that too but ended up with magnaflow and custom piping.

I got a obx axle back and the obx 2.5inch piping. I like the sound. It's pretty mean, but if you drive normal it is quiet.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I just don't like that higher pitched, hollow tin can sound that most non-silencer systems put out.
