Anyone else have this problem?

My car has been making this whining noise only in first gear and it is getting louder. It happens when I only give it slight gas either going up a hill or sometimes anywhere. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. It is really annoying me. The technician took it out but he could not hear anything of course. They told me it is just a characteristic of the car. let me know.

I just got my car back today from the dealer because of brake problems also. I got this certified pre owned from the dealer and after three thousand miles my back brakes were at the sensors. I guess they passes it last october at 5/32. I dont this there was any way that they were that bad. I think they just needed to pass it. Oh well, I am finished venting about that. They covered most of the cost under warranty.

Mine whines a little too. But I never really noticed it until I removed the lower half of the factory intake. Do you have an aftermarket or modified intake?

that might work for a little bit. I had a friend that tried this idea for his brakes squeeking and one day after driving around with brakes that were metal to metal the clapers explowed and leaked out all his brake fluid while he was goin 60mph.
