Anyone down for a CF Trunk GB? I'm tired of waiting for the hood to end

well i hate to ask but what happend to the CF hood w/ vis? cause id only be down if i can get a hood as well of course.. and having no hood.. means no trunk :/

The CF Hood with VIS is still going.. i'm not saying it's been "abandoned" or anything. This is a completely separate thing with a different company. I am currently gauging some interest.
There will also be a CF Front Lip miniGB that will go with this as well.. only 5 of them so if you wanted one, you could get one with this GB as well.
I am the CF GB guy to go to..

^ The hood is being lagged like a bitch. If it was up to me, I'd just tell all of you guys to get a full refund and work with me and Robear to get the hood done. But, we've waited this long so a little bit longer wont hurt. I'm hoping Carlo can pull a miracle out of his ass tho.
As for the trunk, I can get my supplier to GUARANTEE delivery date +/- a few days, at most a week in delay. Guarantee as in... if that shit dont come partial refund! I will definitely strive for that, nothing says "get your ass here in time" like partial refund!!!!!

i rather see us all GB on a clean ass Carbon fiber body kit just lips i guess.
i think trunks look offset , i think your best bet is to go and get your car Crystalized, if you dont know what that is it is sick as hell. it almost looks like craked glass all over you car

haha 2 tone.. depending on how mch this trunk is and if any hoods are available i might be down, since the hail last week put a whole buncha little dings in my hood/trunk either i get insurance to remove all the dents, and im 99% sur they dont repaint it for me, or i do this.

i imagine this trunk would not be THAT expensive becasue our trunks are so small and simple anyways.. lets see the price and availability on the VIS hood.. if they ever get the damn things done. one body shop quoted me $800 for hood/front bumper repaint so this will be about the same price.. sheesh

it all depends on the price i mean 460 for CF hood aint bad but i mean like can i get a rough estimate for trunk or u dont know yet?

Robear Racing is a great company. I used to be a moderator of civichatchback.com back when Rob owned the site. I've ordered a lot of parts off him.
I'm definitely interested in a c/f HOOD since I hit a deer about a week ago and mines all dented up. That group buy with VIS doesn't look like it's going anywhere. But if we can get a g/b with Robear within the next month, I'll 100% for sure buy a hood.
Maybe I'll eventually get a trunk too, but I definitely get a hood!

^ yeah... robear definitely got my attention. Not only the AA rating from BBB (as opposed to VIS's big fucking fat F).. but they just seemed credible from the start. VIS is big no doubt, hence they think its ok to ignore customers.

I want to be able to mount my wing too, might have to get it custom wrapped in c/f to match. A trunk is smaller than a hood, I'd say like $250-300 or close to what you can actually get them for.
