I really need to get my axel replaced, its getting pretty bad. It doesnt do much on the freeway but on the street it really starts thumping bad. I would do it myself but I dont have any tools . It looks to be the drivers side axel, the boot closest to the tranny split in half, the other side still looks fine. I'll try and take a pic of the boot in a few minutes and post it.

How much would it cost to replace one axel (or both), and could it possibly be done within a day? Like I could drop it off the in the morning and pick it up later that evening.

I'll talk to you next time I see you on AIM.

Yea, the boot is fubar'd. The other side is fine, but I can move the axel back and forth enough were I can hear a clicking sound.

I just got mine replaced. It only took about an hour to do. Doesn't take long at all. I don't know the acutally price of the part/labor cause my uncle did it for me.

Well i tried to send you a PM but it's always full so i'll just post it here...if you don't want to post the answers here, please PM or call me:

Hey Sam, my name is Huy.

I got a 97 3.0 and I'm having problem with the headlight acting stupid: When i turn on the headlight (lowbeam), on the the driver side (D) turns on but not the pass side (P). I tried everything, even replace the bulbs, but now the Highbeam is also on when i turn on the headlight (i did not activate the high beam...). So now only the (D) lowbeam and highbeam work...

I see that some of the wires are broken as well as the plugs (feels like they are disintegrating...).

If you do rewiring, how much is it to rewire both sides? Can you do custom wiring so that the light draws power directly from the battery (since i'm thinking about switching to aftermarket HID)?

I also have some other parts to be installed. Listed Below.

How much is it for everything i mentioned? Here's the break down (please post price next to it):
  1. Re-wiring OR Custom wiring to draw power from battery
  2. Shocks - KYB AGX front pair
  3. Front & Rear Upper Strut bars
  4. Rear Swaybar
  5. SSautochrome Headers - direct fitment

I'm willing to drive to your place. Please get back to me ASAP. Prefer cell: (310) 920-1988.
