another stupid opinion ? painted valve cover

ok, the ride....now with out color matching the valve cover what colors aside from black would go with this.

here is the last wip. 07 si fuji blue....she is missed

yea..thanks...haha my next project hopefully starting next year is a 02 911....but back to this wip....cause i'm keeping this one till it drops

color match the valve cover with the car. that would look hot.

Whatever u do dont paint it powder coat it. Paint is crappy n cheap

I'm not a fan of the yellow at all, black or red would be my vote, but you can always do something more creative.

VHT wrinkle red, or black.



Soon I plan to paint mine wrinkle black with a few coats of blue over it to hopefully match the OEM color.

wrinkle is nice...
actually just gave my engine a little love...
sanded down the vtec and 3.2 letters to make them shiny again.
sanded the cover with brillo pad to get rid of some corrosion
then dabbed all the raised letters with bearing grease to keep the paint from sticking (instead of tape)...painted high temp black. then while still somewhat wet, used a razor to scrape the black off the letters then sprayed clear on all of it. Worked like a charm!
