Another Rotor ?

Is it wise to use factory brake pads on my crossed drilled slotted rotors by brembo, I haven't installed them yet. I was thinking that if not a good idea i'll prob go with axxis or aem. which is better??

'Ya know, I've not done that, so I'm not sure what results you'll get.

I put PBR Metal Master pads on when I got my Brembos.

dustbuster4, i've got a question for you... i would look around, but the search function is disabled... how is your brake pad/rotor combination in terms of noise? any squeekin? how's brake dust compared to oem pads on oem rotors?

No noise!

I would say that the brake dust is about the same (maybe a little more; but not much).

I compulsively clean my car at least once a week, so the brake dust really never builds up.

i suppose i should've posted this earlier, but drewha174, no, it's not a bad idea, though your braking performance wouldnt be as good with the oem pads than if you went with the axxis or aem pads.

[/QUOThank you Z, but what about if I were to install the rotors and keep the oem pads, "can't wait for a couple of days for the aftermarket pads" Then change the oem once I get the aftermarkts. Will this affect the rotors??? Again thanks...
