a month ago i saw a yellow with black stripes ford gt...a few weeks ago i passed by a bentley continental gt on a back road, and just a couple days ago i was driving on a causeway with the sun right in my eyes and i see a red glare of light in my eyes and in the last second it flies by me...ferrari f430...i just stared in my rearview till it was out of sight haha

oh yeah and this is in VT, there are never any exotics. but this weekend theres a huge BMW motorcycle show so theres tons of nice bikes everywhere right now. all i see around here is boxters, benz, and tons of bmws.

so your a loan officer......my dad has a mortgage company(branch manger of two different ones), title company, and his own law office. and i know what the guys get paid on commission if they work thier ass off, hence why i'm trying and learning to become a loan officer. thiers a shit load of money to be made in that business and i've seen it for some guys.....btw which company do u work for if it's national mortgage company...just wondering

I started as a loan officer but i do a bit more then that now so my comission has been renegotiated above a normal LO. Also different companies pay you a different %. Trust me its not about the pay, its really about the quality of shop and they way they treat you, that plus when your a senior guy and you get pull around the office for bigger loans it has its perks. I've had many offers that would close to double my split of fee's but I wont risk losing the best job I could ever have. I can tell ya this, its a risky job and tons of people say its a bullshit job and its a waste but thats only becasue they couldnt make it in the industry. YES its 100% comission, and YES there is that first 2 months your going to have to go without a paycheck. Hell I lived on ramen noodles and a bus pass my first 2 months there, but after you start tasting the cash it just adds up and soon on top of itself to the point you've now made it. Then the next thing you know your 1st year being a LO is over and you've made 80k-100k without even thinking. There are guys in my office that made 600k in one year!! That is the single most thing that motivated me to last it out through the broke ass times and bust my ass to get where he is.

We also have our own title company and law office on staff so that definatly makes life 100x easier when your dealing instate

Yes the CLS is probably very similar (performance wise except RWD) to an SL500. Regardless, I would rather have an SL500 than the CLS. I take that back, I would rather have an S600, no AMG styling, no conspicous "fast looking" coupe, just a sedan that is /quicker faster than most exotics while sitting in the ventilated seats with the navi and buttersoft leather, and a few trees worth of wood. Nice cars I have driven an SL500 and they are nice vehicles. Glad you get to experience driving the others.

I have been a Ferarri nut since I was old enough to know what one was. Side perk is that people love it. For me it feel,sound and the total experenice that you have every time you drive it.

And give old boy on here a break. A SL500 is a very nice car, I had one. Yes they are all over the place, but they are very nice comfortable ride that come at a entry 6 figure price tag. I agree the SL55 is a beast and the best all around convertable in the world for performance and comfort. And if you really have the $ take it to the next level to the 65, but you really step the price up. Then you are in Aston, Lambo, Ferarri price range then.

And who said we buy exotics to compare quarter mile times? Its not only the image, its the sheer performance, superior craftsmanship, and advanced technology... AND the image to go with it. Sure, slap 50k on a honda and youll be faster than an enzo, but will it track like an enzo? Have the reliabililty, the fit, finish and feel? The undeniable superiority of engineering quality? Didnt think so.

if you're buying a ferrari or any other exotic "just" for performance, you are an idiot.

the performance comes with the status more than the other way around. people buy ferrari's because they want to let people know that they are baller and can proudly say to people that they drive a ferrari.

for the price of the enzo, i'm sure with that much money, you can make a honda smoke the shit out of it on the track (650k in mods anyone?). thats why people dont look much into the CRX with h22 swap or bubble with h22 swap. sure they are fast, and some of them hit the 10's and 11's, but who the fuck cares? its a damn POS CRX thats 20 years old. thats the same idea that goes with exotics and fixed up cars.

its all about the damn status guys. if you got a ferrari, what would you tell your friends first, "i got a damn ferrari man" or "i can track better than you." yeah tahts wut i thought

Sorry man but I have to disagree. It is not all about the status. Sure, there are plenty of those types of people out there but there are just as many like RP who love it for the... "feel,sound and the total experenice that you have every time you drive it." I have not driven one but they are major eye candy and sound like pure sex! Ferrari's are definitely to be driven hard and enjoyed. If I had one, I would enjoy staring at it, waxing it, and listening to the beautiful sound as I drove it around. All of that would put a smile on my face on a regular basis. People gawking at it really would be secondary.
