Amendment to the N00b Guide?
Just as the title says. This question came about from a different thread.
Can anyone thing of any changes that need to be made to the N00b guide? I don't really want to get into where things can be done at. Shops and whatnot. But is there anything that is not in there, that should be?

Font for the thread needs to be changed by a mega mod to orange or something that stands out like the 2nd gen forum so people actually read this. Mitch, I'm down to help you expand this, I helped proof read more than contribute last time, we should exchange IM s/n's or somethin.

I agree with Black, the font needs to be changed, it's hard to see, a high-contrast/loud color would be the best solution...Also, i think that we should change the tittle to "Noobs Guide. SEARCH FIRST Before Posting" instead of Read first... makes more sense that way since we want them to search...
How about add in the instruction on how to retrieve the radio code (phone # to call, i remember some members here called Acura HQ to get the code instead to dealing with the stealers, if we can get that # it would be great...)? also, includes info of the 3.0 autotragic trans, what need to be ensured when rebuilding...Dr. Evil...etc

How about when a noob first logs on to the site and visits the 1st gen CL forum for the first time as a member they are automatically taken to the noob guide and maybe a dialog box (like the box that pops up when you get a PM) pops up explaining that this is this the noob guide and most all of their question will be answered by it and that their noob non JDM asses should read it so that they could be come JDM.

I also agree the color font should be changed, I sent klepto a PM about this a while ago.

Do you have Xfire? Thats about the only IM client that I use.

The guy that was supposed to help me went into the ER on Friday. He's still in the hospital, may have to have surgery. So I made the decision to go against my morals and have a mechanic install my camber kit, clutch, and axles. Out the door, labor only 425 bucks. I provided everything, so that was just labor...
