alternator...bad trip

alternator...bad trip

i was driving down the street and ny car suddenly died on me...i had to push it down the street and found out my alternator broke....bad trip how much for replacement?

well our alternaters are known for going out, I'd go with an aftermarket one. Higher output if you have an after mkt audio setup. They go for a couple hundered bucks.

I lost an alternator a while back. Definately go with an aftermarket one, I got a new oem one, and I have to upgrade it, because of my Optima gel battery and system.

A lot of people on here talk about bosch 130 AMP which should be good enough. I've been looking at some 160 AMP ones on ebay
