for all those who self installed their amp and subs..
is there an existing hole in the firewall... or will i need to drill it my selff??? how long was ur wire and what guage did u use???.. PLZ help me

Just did my system this past weekend in my 3.0. I used 4 Gauge coming off the battery into a fuse block with 8-gauge coming out to the amps and cap.
There is a big rubber grommet on the upper left side on the firewall on the drivers side. take a pair of channel locks or big pliers and pinch it and slowly pull it towards you. Peel it back just enough to fit the Power line through.
If you need more help....I got pics that show you where and how I did my wiring, mounting, etc. Good Luck!

FYI:
I ran the power line down the left side of the car, and ran the RCA's down the center console to the trunk. Since it was BOSE, I had to patch into the speaker wires from the BOSE amp wires in the trunk.
