Unhappy alarm malfunction

hey peeps i was wondering if anyone had a problem with their alarm going "panic" randomly mine did it today for 2 times.

when the 1st alarm went on ,i checked the car to see if there's any damage but i found nothing , 2nd time it panicked, i checked the car again but theres nothing really wrong im starting to get curious about this , anyways help would be appreciated

damn brian, your car seems to have more problems than mine... and that's saying something.

Did you set off the alarm accidentally by dropping/touching the remote? check the part of the windows directly above the LED, someone might have tried to get into the car.

Could the accident cause the alarm to malfunction? check the fuses, etc.

hood latch could be loose cuz of the accident, the battery in your remote could be going, or your car battery could be going I've seen all 3 cause this issue

i know man good thing i gotta job already to pay for the works that are needed to be done on my car well anyways my remote doesnt work that much anymore so i think i needa new one

change your door switches, easy and cheap to try. a couple new parts on your car can't hurt anyway. my factory alarm was going off on it's own a few times so I changed the switches and it didn't happen ever since.

I would try replacing the battery in your remote before anything else, its only a few bucks. good luck man
