Alarm Light in Driver side door does not work

It seems the alarm still works but the light no longer blinks. Could this be a fuse thing...everything else seems to work. There is a rattle coming from that area. Is there a way to check led without removing the whole door?

I just spent money getting a loose heat shield fixed and I have to fix some rust on the rear quarter panel, so I do not want to have to pay someone to fix this but I have to get it fixed because I am a little obsessive compulsive when it comes to my car.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pull the door panel...search for that one, its pretty easy to do, and check it out, it may have come lose on the inside. The led itself and the board its on is only held in with some really sticky black stuff, at least mine was. I pulled it all out and put a bright ass blue led in there...I know I know...everyone has blue.

Mine doesn't work either. Let me know what you do to fix it. I'm too lazy to pull apart the whole door. Is there a way to get one on the other side?

it may be loose, or the LED's dead, you can get a new one at radioshack for 3-4 dollars. The whole piece should just pop out with a screw driver according to my helm's manual, but I haven't tried it yet. Was thinking about changing the red as well. Try poppin it out with a small flat head screwdriver.

You can't pop it out from the top...if you do hat you will break it, that is what caused me to have to take off the door panel. If you search you can finjd a few really good how to's to pull the door panel.

Red face

So it turns out my light is actually working. I was looking from my window above the car and the view might of actually be obstructed, also I got dark ass tint so it is hard to see regardless.

I guess I don't have to take my door apart afterall.

Thanks for the suggestions and advice

Peace Out
