alarm light

on the driver's side door, right by the window, there's that little piece of plastic that says "security". is this supposed to have a red light that blinks? if the light doesn't blink, does that mean the alarm is not on? (i just noticed that mine doesn't blink, think it may be something that didn't get fixed right when i had to get a new door).

set your alarm, then open up your door, if your alarm goes off, then it works

When I had my window adjusted it didn't light up for me. It was because whoever did it didn't plug it in. At the time my door light didn't go on and the vanity mirror light didn't go on. SO that was a big hint on my part. Other than that I notice u can barely see the damn thing with heavy tint anyways.
