and its screwing up my HIDS ...
anyone know what i can do?
i dont really want an aftermarket alarm to replace it...
i asked my mechanic.. and he told me if i bring it to acura they are going to charge me like 500 so screw that

Check to see that your door sensors are working. If one is sticking, it will cause the alarm to not work properly. As for the HIDs, my alarm only flashes the corners and tail lights... Why is yours flashing the headlights? That sucks.

Factory alarms act up once in a while. At least mine does every few months. In fact is was acting last night. It was weird cause it was making just a chirp then a 10 seconds later another. Almost like a bird singing.
