Hey ladies and gents i need some help with my keyless entry.. i checked the noob guide no info on this.. I have a 97 cl when i lock and unlock the doors the lights dont blink not do i hear the audible chirp.. i dont have a owners manual for my 97 but my dad has a 99 so i used his book to figure out how to turn on the audible chirp. i used the instructions which stated press and hold the trunk release button and quickly press the lock button. That did not work so can anyone tell me if the instructions are different for the 97 i will appreciate it alot..

 

you have to search for it. when you push the trunk and lock button that only turns on the sound for your alarm.

 

i tried that but the sound didnt come on even when i hit the panic you dont hear a sound its like the alarm is silenced the lights just blink when it is in panic mode but when i lock or unlock i dont hear a sound nor do i see a flashing light

 

fuse box/ relay.

 

ok cool what do i need to do replace the relay or a fuse or sum ?

 

make sure your hood is closed also
