Alarm

I bought a 99 3.0CL two weeks ago and the dealer STILL hasn't gotten me an owners manual.
Can someone out there telll me how to deactivate the alarm if it starts going off?
I got one of those remote car starters installed today and the alarm started gong off when I got home. I was able to disarm it by luck and I'm not sure exactly what I did.

Some remote starters have a wire that pulses negative to disarm factory alarms (mine does). You can connect that to the factory disarm (no unlock) wire on the factory alarm.

sound good to me thats what i would say too. hey dont you hold the trunk and the unlock for 3 sec and it will switch the mode from silent to loud? oh well
