SO IM TRYING TO BUY NEW BRAKES FOR MY 97 ACURA CL I SAW THIS ADD ON AMECHANIC SHOP ABOUT "AKEBONO" BRAKES IM WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS EVER HAD THIS ON YOUR RIDE? IS IT TRUE THAT THEY DONT SQUEEK AND STOP QUICK ALSO PRODUCE LESS DUST???? OR SHOULD I JUST GO TO ADVANCE AUTO PARTS OR ANY OF THOSE TYPE OF STORES AND GET LIFETIME WARRANTY?????

 

i have them. not too bad. bought mine from tire rack awhile back. haven't heard a squeek. if you just need to replace your pads, then its not a bad choice. imo

 

Alright thanks I tried finding them on eBay for a cheaper price but it seems like I won't have such luck I can't even find a fit for my 97 CL do you remember the price by any chance? So you think they are worth the price?

 

sorry it was awhile back. i don't even remember. are they worth it? of course there are better ones, but just to get the job done then yes. Would i buy it again? sure.

 

any ceramic pads will squeak less and produce less dust

 

This brand claims to produce less dust than most aftermarket brand I was just wondering if this is true. The less dust I can have on my rims the better
