Aiming headlights

hey i looked at the levels on my headlights today and they are showing that my headlights point way up which is weird because the car has never been in an accident before. But i have noticed that this car has less nighttime visibility than my previous cars i assume this is because of mis-aimed headlights.

how do i adjust these badboys? because i want them aimed correctly because i'm looking to get HIDs soon.

also, does MSD ignition give any performance gains?

when aiming them, i heard its good to put something heavy in the car, to mimic your weight when you're driving.. that way the aim will not be askew when you get in.
im not sure if there is that big of a difference though
also make sure your car is not on a slope, as that would lead the bubbles to be out of alignment

MSD def will give you some small gains, nothing earth shattering

As for adjusting the headlights, there are screw/knobs in the back that aim the reflectors up and down, you can adjust them using a small phillips head screw driver.

I'm having the same problem. On the driver light, I'm losing 10ft of lighted distance, but the thing doesn't seem to want to move. I know that one or the other the adjusting knob is stripped, so it looks like maybe new headlights are on order. Yay, another $180/light. Instead, I think I'll just buy the aftermarket black outs since they're $100+/pair.

Oh, I just took a look at the lights again and saw the 3 screws to adjust the up/down. I knew that. I don't know why I didn't think about it before. I'll adjust it tonight.

Look in the owners manual for detailed steps on how to aim the headlights.

stay away from msd
oem is the best

adjusting the headlights is a pain. you have to turn the dials on the back of the headlight a lot while the headlight trajectory slightly turns
