aftermarket shift knob...

hey all,

i wanna buy aftermarket shift knob for my CL...the problem is the one i want has your standard oval head design with the push button facing forward not towards the left like the stock shift knob does. Is this a simple mod to do or can i really mess this up? And will any aftermarket shift knob work with my CL?

It's real easy, remove the 2 screws from the handle, pop the spring and button out, remove the handle, apply the new handle. Most auto shift handles are universal, all they need to be able to do is push the spring down for the gear shifter. It's easy, just be careful, people on here have had problems with their shift knobs being too high and getting in the way of their headunits/flipouts
