i have a remus muffler wit 2.25" piping. its sounds nice as hell when i want it to be... and also have a K&N drop in filter. Im wondering if i get a AEM v2 intake for a few hp gains... would it make my exhaust louder... i hope so... more air coming in, more air should come out thus louder rite? thanx for any advice.

 

when i rode in llwesman's car he had a v2 and a magnaflow exhaust. When he got on it..all you could hear was the intake because it was so loud, you couldnt even hear the exhaust

 

You probably cant hear the exhuast cuz ur sorta in the "cockpit" so u hear the intake... but outsiders still hear the muffler rite? iunno... but my question still is... does an intake make the exhaust louder becuase its spittin out more air. someone confirm this?

 

i have a magnaflow muffler/cai/headers and i dont believe the cai makes the ehaust any louder...but like he said above when you floor it that intake is loud...in a good way...and the horespower gains are pretty decent...definetly a g mod

 

The V2 will definitely make the car sound better, and louder.

 

all there is to it. You wouldn't notice your exhaust getting any louder, because the intake screams when VTEC engages
