I can't find my K&N cleaning kit, oil/spray. I was told that I can use either carb cleaner or brake cleaner, is this a good thing. My filter is really dirty and can't wait to order a new kit being that I drive my car to and from work. Thanks....

You could clean it with anything really, its the oiling part I'd worry about.

i thought u was talkin bout the new filter that comes with the aem intakes made by aem instead of k & n. they claim 1-2 more hp.

 

Thats where I got mine. They have k&n filters too.

 

has anyone ever changed or put in, the 9 inch k&n filter i know its for like 89-90 something mustangs but you can put it in to our cars to maximize intake. im going to get it i ordered it through pep boys(auto parts place) and im going to put it on my CAI.
