i am looking for a sub to add to my stock system...the amp i was planning on going with is the mtx 421D. i was either going to get 1 JLw3v2 or a Infinity Kappa Perfect 12d VQ, wich would be louder? and which should i get?

 

Yo man, you didn't get your subs yet??? I thought you bought your subs and amp already.

 

how much are you getting all that for? I started putting together a system for my car and I picked up an Audiobahn amp for $109 and a audiobahn ALUM10Q sub for $105. I know those things hit really hard. Another kick ass sub I was thinking about getting is a Diamond audio sub. Those are incredibly loud and great sounding.

why dont you just get a jl w7 . those things are bad azz. but on a real note i put two jl 10 w3

 

if i were u i'd get 1 12" alumapro or sound stream... cheap and they sound as good as jl's

 

Make sure that you get an excellent amp. My friend has a 12W7 that doesn't hit as hard as my HE2's cause he's running a weak amp.

 

at first i was gunna buy it all off the net and now i have to buy it at cartoys so the stuff i can get has changed

 

Don't get a w7 unless you have $500 bucks to dish out on an amp. A 12w6ae will hit really hard..and right now they are practically giving them away because of the v2's. I wouldn't really go louder than that because your car will rattle like hell..
