Hey guys, i don't know if this been asked before, but i heard you can add a shock sensor onto our stock car alarm. How do we do that?? i found info for the 2001 models, but is it the same for our 97-99 models??

BTW.....our alarm systems are not "bad", they are made by Alpine but only come with basic functions. It can be expanded upon and can be just as effective as purchasing an entirely new system.
CL-Z, when you install yours, can you tell me how it came out, and where i could find the wires for the alarm. cause i have no clue where the wires for the alarm are. I think our alarm is good also, it's just that it's limited on many things, like the shock sensor.
I checked with the dealer and they told me it cost around $600 CDN for them to upgrade my stock alarm. They told me not worth it too. Then, I asked them if I can get someone else to upgrade it and they said the warranty will be voided. They suggest to install a separate alarm systems and that's what I've done.
