Anybody here added a second cig lighter to the car. I want to maybe add a second on for the back seat or maybe add a second on the side of passenger side.

i just bought a splitter form radio shack and its just a plug into the reg cig lighter and makes two for the front

i would say go to a junk yard and cut one out of any car and then split the wires from the front and install it anywhere you want and there you go

 

Im running a splitter in the front, radar detector and phone charger. Never have any rear passengers, but im sure you could find or make a long splitter.

 

I put a second one in my center console. I just picked up a panel mount from the local electrical wonderhouse and mounted it right to the removable bottom insert. I keep my cell charger plugged up to it and the connector comes out in the rear cup holder (where my phone always sits - not like you can actually put a drink there anyway). I just ran the wires up to the original cig lighter as I didn't plan to draw a ton of power. If you want to run an inverter or some shit - better use one of the blank power spots on the fuse box.

well.. mine has a controler which is near my center console.. i can put 4 things in one.. w/ a controler.. and the thing is in back seats.. behind the driver side..which u CAN'T see..

it costs me $50 when i bought it..
