i'm so sooped!!!!!!!! i just called acura care they said that they will fix my code 67 catalist converter for free!!!! now all i gotta do is change my intake for a stock one and be on my merry way!! i also changed my spark plugs and wires will they try to hassle me because of that???

You shouldn't have to switch your intake out, or your spark plugs.

be careful ont he spark plugs, honda may replace them as part of the "service" so then you are out $$ for the ones that you bought.

they work on mine all the time

i have a VAFC controller and a intake and exhaust too real loud with teh resonator off too

the VAFC they told me was a modification and i told them no it isnt cause its only for monitoring the intake manifold pressure and also to accurately read the rpm's sicne most analog guages are offf, the VAFC shows the rpms at 780 when idle when the car shows like 1200 if that

so they cant say shit to me

they did that to me and they didn't even tell me about it. they were brand new busch P+4's

if you have expensive plugs, just tell them don't change them of if they insist on changing them, tell them to give you back your plugs.

but the cat converter could be under the emission extended warranty.

yea but i heard they can blame your intake for taking in small amounts of water and messing up the cat. honestly i dont mind changing it back to stock it was a five minute job. i just dont want to give them a reason to say no.
