I'm CERTIFIED - they can find & fix as much crap as they wanna!

I'm sure you're correct about being a generator of revenue though - keep in mind, after the purchase, service is the only way to keep making $$ off of ya....until you're ready to purchase again.

It would be fun to go if I got one. I would love to see the look on thier faces when they opened up my hood and saw an h22 in thier instead of an f23. I guess I would fail that 45 point inspection.

LOL......seriuosly someone should take one of really modded CL's into a dealer one of these days, just to see the look on the mechanics faces.

That would be sweet! You'd probably only have 15 or so points left to actually inspect
I'll bet they'd want to road-test it too!

I bought it used from the local Acura/Honda dealer. The salesman said, "This car is Acura-Certified.....it's the best warranty on the market"

After checking what was involved in Acura's certification process, it sounded like a good deal. What I didn't know was that they don't actually use a checklist prior to purchasing the car.....the way it's worked for me was to find things on the car that weren't concurrent with the certification points...then make repeated trips to the dealer to get them fixed.

Watch out though, the bumper to bumper certification excludes many things that need repair more frequently. I had to pay $260 for exhaust work six months after I bought the car.
