Accident!!

Long story short, I was in an accident a lil while ago and it's safe to say that its done, for good this time. One thing after another but my question is should I be able to get money back from parts I had if I still have the receipt? I just got finished with putting on d2's, sways, v2, new motor and trans, camber kit... all that shit only used for like a month and a half!! SHIT!!

Your insurance company may or may not cover mods.... My new insurance policy lets me choose if I want to cover mods and what not.

OK heres the lowdown.
IF THE ACCIDENT IS YOUR FAULT -> then u needed to claim the mods before the accident
IF ITS NOT UR FAULT - > you need to pull ur statements (bank or credit cards) to prove that u just spent money on ur car. This way you can argue with the other company for the "fair market value"
goodluck..

Depends on what shop you take your car to and what state you live in.

I know someone who totaled their camaro when the wreck was their fault. They bought the car back (I can't remember how much but not a lot) and sold off the motor and some other mods and made money on the deal.

well if the accident is NOT ur fault, then by law the other person has to 'make you whole again' Its like getting paid out by the insurance company for a Honda Civic DX, when you Own a Honda civic EX. $$ you put into your car (except maintanance crap) will get paid out for by the other company.
