I have a 97 acura cl 2.2. When I was driving it started to accelerate without me pressing the gas. It was extremely hard to stop. I had to use the emergency brake. Why is it doing this? Does anyone know?

 

i had an issue similar..not sure how bad yours is but i didnt need to use the emergency brake but it did feel like it wanted to take off after it was warmed up and at stops while in drive..

i replaced my tps and cooling temp sensor..that solved the issue (for me anyhow)..im no mechanic..
