About two years ago my ABS light came on. From a fix i learned I bled the ABS resiior of air bubbles and it fixed the abs light problem, I was good for two years. Advance to today, well two months ago. Upon starting my car, the ABS light would stay one after the abs pump primed and went off. I again bled the abs modulator of air like before, but upon starting up the car not only did the abs light stay on, the abs pump did not shut off. It ran continusoly. To stop the annoying pump I removed the ABS relay in the fuse box under the hood just forward of the pump. Although the light remains on and I am ok without ABS cause the car still brakes fine. I am curious what may have cause the malfunction so when I have the time I might be able to fix the issue. Anyone have a similar issue?
