ABS light came on?!
Driving home the other night i notcied my ABS light suddenly came on. Just wondering what some possibilities for this could be and how soon i should bring it in to be looked at. The brakes as far as i can tell seem fine but i'd rather be safe then sorry. Also anyone know at what milage a 2.2 cl is recomended to get its timing belt changed? Thanks

well I had mine on for a while, but when I Got hit by a f-350 I looked into it further. Anyway It ended up being a speed sensor for the abs on one of the wheels. Nothing bad ever happend when it was on though. Just a little tough to drive when I took it to flagstaff and there was ice all over.
As for the timing belt 105k is what the say max should be, and 60k if it spends its days in extreme conditions (20 below or 110 above degrees)

i just had this problem, but it was sorta different. mine would come on every now andd then but then more and more - i posted a couple of weeks ago and the advice i got was to check the abs reservoir and make sure there's fluid.
i did.
it was low (below min level)
i added
no more problem (-:
it took a day for the problem to go away after i added the fluid. the next day i opened the master brake reservoir and released some pressure and then the light went off and didn't come back. i can give you more detail if you need.
