ABS light
Hey, I bought my 97 2.2cl primrose about 4 months ago...finally gettin it paid off. so i'll be lookin at some upgrades. first of all though, i'd like to take care of the abs light that has been on since i bought the vehicle. the owner thought it was an sensor. Is there a certain fault within the abs system that plagues these 2.2cl's that i should check out first? What do you guys recommend?

Did the previous owner do brakes before he sold it to you...Same shit happened to me and it turned out to be a damaged sensor from a previous brake job, so I changed it and it was all good.

Yeah. I'm not too sure. The brakes did seems pretty fresh when I bought it so it's possible. What did that sensor cost for you? Just tryin to get an idea of what this could end up costing me. Also, I opened us the ABS fuse box near the air filter and noticed that there is a open slot for a fuse. I don't know if this is factory or if somebody was tryin to get rid of the ABS light. This couldn't be what is trippin my ABS light on could it?

Could be you're missing the fuse, otherwise, it's probably a wheel speed sensor, I've replaced 3, and an axel and my light still comes on
