99 orange needles

First off let me say hello. I am new to the cl community and I recently bought a 99 2.3 cl and for the past few days ive been going through all the threads to see what i can do to my cl. I know you're all going to hate me b/c i keep reading that ppl should look around fist before asking but i am going to be honest...i can not find out how i can remove the orange paint from the needles. maybe i am just an idiot but if you can help me out i would really appreciate and it would save me a lot of time.

Either paint them a dif color, or use some sort of paint thinner / remover

I have the 9 in blue, IMO its not too bright, in fact I wish it was brighter.

The S7 gauges are overlays only, and they dont come with needles (trust me I needed a new fuel gauge when I broke the needle off trying to slip the overlay on)

I'm not a fan of the s7 guages either, of course I'm doing black interior accents so they don't make much sense for me anyway. I have 5 LED wide angle LED's in my guage cluster and love the look they are super bright. My entire interior is green led btw.

i had what i thought was a good idea, and painted them with Illuminite. problem was they never got enough direct light to charge up, so never glowed . i'd say just make sure you get some nice bright bulbs for behind the dash (especially those two up top).
best luck.
