My friend has a 98' CL 2.2. Last week, he brought it in for service and the entire engine had to be taken out to get to a specific part but it was all put back in correctly. However, because the battery was taken out, the radio was looking for the code which he lost long ago. He kept trying to put in numbers and after so many failed attempts, the radio locked on him. Now, he is stuck and doesn't know what to do. He found the radio code but obviously can't enter it. Can anyone give any suggestions??

 

reset the battery.... i mean disconnect the cable wires to the battery for a minute and then reconnect it and see if that would reset the radio. it should let you put in the code after you reset the radio

 

if that doesnt work u gotta touch the 2 cables after u have tacken them off the battery terminal. make sure ur not still connected to the battery when u do this
