I have a solid, clean and fast 98 3.0 but am baffled by the steering. The steering is solid when roasting the Kumhos, tight and straight at top speed (shhh) but it makes worse U-turns than an Excursion. Honestly, with the steering locked I can barely make a U-turn in a 3 lane road. I have never driven another 1st gen CL and was just wondering if this is normal or if there's some crazy toe adjustment or something that can help...

39 feet i believe for the radius. larger than my dads company van, and most other cars. i drove my moms highlander after driving nothing but the cl for a few months and it was easy to oversteer being used to the cl, parking all like \ \ .

its bad when i got an explorer that seems to turn on a dime compared to my cl. thats b/s

 

Good now i know it isn't all in my head. Our cars have such a royally shitty turn radius. I don't know whos idea it was to make an explorer turn quicker than our cars, but it was a stupid idea.
