I don't know what size your midpipe is, but you can fit any diameter muffler to any pipe with the right flanges.

However, you don't want a muffler that's smaller than the pipe diameter (obviously), but going to one that's bigger than stock won't help power (although it won't hurt it, especially if you end up upgrading to larger piping in the future).

the piping that i had is 2.25 inch in diamter...unless you want turbo...thats the size you should get...oh and if you have a ulev engine like the new accord 4 cyl...they should have 2 inch...i forgot why but something to do with the ulev...

2.25" is rather large for a 2.2/2.3, but I would think that would almost be on the small side for a 3.0.

question.... if you are going to change your exhaust from CAT back... why are you going to replace it with a standard size piping?????

Go with a 2.75 or 3".... and let your installer worry about the adaptors!!!
