CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE DIFFERECE BETWEEN THE 97 AND 97 CL 3.0.

 

Do you mean the 97 2.2 and 97 3.0?

 

If you mean the difference between the 2.2 and 3.0, the 2.2 is a 4 cylinder and the 3.0 is a 6 cylinder. The 4 has 150hp and the 6 has 200hp....

I MADE A MISTAKE. WHAT I MEANT TO SAY WAS THE DIFF BETWEEN 97 CL 3.0 VS 98,99 CL 3.0.

 

Thanks, juniorbean, for that. Actually I had always wondered what the HP difference was but I didn't want to ask anyone and feel dumb. :o

 

I thought the 2.2 was like 145 or 147 or something like that.

 

97 2.2 is 145hp vtec 147 lbs torque
98+ 2.3 is 150 hp vtec and i think 152 lbs of torque.
97-99 3.0 200hp vtec i do not know the torque.

 

yeah, what he said ... the 2.2 and 2.3 were separated only by about 5hp, like VXCL said. I actually meant the 2.3 in my post!! I think there was a post covering all of the differences... let me look and I'll post the link here....
