97CL roof rack?

Okay here's the deal. Snowboarding season has begun and it's one of my favorite sports. I've gone snowboarding twice already, once with my friends on another car, and another time on our family's Camry. The good thing about the Camry is the folding rear seat for snowboards. Very practical. The CL, however, does not have that and it's one thing about it that pisses me off. So yesterday I was thinking, is it possible to get a roof rack on a CL? One of my friends has a WRX wagon with a roof rack and another one HAD a ZX3 with a roof rack. So can I fit one too? And if I can, then which one should I consider buying and where are they available?

Yakimo or whatever it is. Thats the route I would go.
Most sports stores will have them. If you cant find one that way, go to a skiing place or snowboard shop.

Maybe you could just rig something up for only when you actually use it. Maybe some bungee cords and a pad or something? I wouldn't want a permanent rack on my car, but thats me.

i fit my board standing up behind my driver's seat. if you don't want to do that i'm pretty sure Thule makes something for our car.

im sure its possible. i see them on 5th gen Accord coupes all the time, but i have a feeling there more of a fashion statement. at least your gonna use yours Thule and Yakima would be your best bets though. i never seen a CL with a roof rack but i tihink it will look pretty cool.

my new 162 burton custom in a 166 burton padded bag fits diagonally in the back and i sit a ways back being 6'1". but if you want the look of a roofrack get the thule. ive always liked the looks of that rack, especially if you are lowered.

I'd put it through the SKI PASS or across the back seats like others suggested, if you absolutely can't fit it any other way, yakima is the only way to go otherwise

Thanks for the answers you guys. So the Yakima racks, how do they fit on the roof? Like the installation part is what I want to know. Will it be possible to take them off after winter or will they be permanently stuck on the roof?

i doubt it would be permanent. take alook on accord forums. there are alot of accord coupes with Thule or Yakima roof racks. not the same looking care but will give u a decent idea.

the racks are not permenant. look into a Thule rack. you'll need to buy the actual rack first - which i guess you would call the rails that go across the roof. then you'll have to buy the actual ski, snowboard, or bike rack. its designed for multiple applications so yes you can remove it. last time i checked, a Thule set up will run you about $300.
