i am looking around for idea of what to do to make my interior look better, and i keep seeing 98-99's they have a much more beautiful interior, dash look, anyone have any ideas how to get the ugly look of the 97 dash to look somewhat decent

1. Yeah, get one out of a 98-99 and it should bolt right in...
2. remake your whole dash out of fiberglass.

 

number 1 is good, but you just killed it on the fiberglass one. anyways look for a dash kit, ebay or google!

swap the auto for a manula thats step one

 

I think you would be better off selling the 97 and getting a 99... You could even change the grille out, if you prefer the 97 grille as some on this board do. You are looking at a hell of a lot of work and no, you won't get the color to be the same. Just my two pennies worth.

 

well i just got 4k worth of work done on it (not my money) but still the interior is not that big of a deal with me
