97 acura cl = what honda?
I have had my cl which i bought from a friend for dirt cheap. he wrecked the cars body mostly but the engine is still in great condition. I finally have some money to get new parts for it but they're expensive and I'm trying to make it last. What parts can I swap onto my acura from a honda? Or even body kits? Performance parts? honda parts are cheaper than acura parts.
Thanks

I know that you can't use the doors off the same generation 2 door accord because I need a new door and have looked but I'd assume that other things are usable. or at least i hope so

CL in lawnmower status
first gen cl was the first acura engineered and designed specifically for north america, thus no overseas counterpart
as said some accord parts work, but not for exterior i don't think

the interiors are almost identical, the only difference is the electronic climate control and the sunroof/cruise button placement. my girlfriend has(had) a 97 accord, it was freaky sitting in the thing..
oh and the door locks are on the top of the sill as opposed to the handle like ours are.
but as suspension wise goes, 94-97 suspension and brakes (pending you find an accord with 4 wheel disc) along with engine components. you can find all of that in the n00b guide
