I bought a 97 2.2CL and since I have gotten it I have had a lack of fourth gear. When I put it into 4th gear, it runs fine for the time it goes through first through third but when it gets to fourth, it just spins like it trying to catch. I replaced the solenoid but after trying to get to fourth gear, it has the same problem. What would be my next step in trying to get fourth gear?

Looks like you need a rebuild. Where are you located? I rebuild these all the time, I could come look at it if your close.

Sounds like your trans is going, definitely time for a rebuild.
