I'm lookin to buy a xenon 9005/9006 combo for my 98 CL. I know those numbers are correct, but what about wattage? 55W, 80W, 110W? Differences, effects on length of life, brightness, better? Please help. New to the club!

 

I believe that the low beam is about 55 watt and the high beam is about 60. Moda Car has those bulbs (high - 110 watt, and low - 105 watt) for 70 per pair.

You should double check your manual b/c if you go too much over those wattage numbers, you may blow or melt something. The PIAAs I just bought are 55w for the low (9006) and 61w for the high (9005)....

 

Your stock bulbs are 51 low and 60 for highs. The Piaa's are designed to produce a brighter bulb without melting your wires. So you will be ok with getting the higher wattage bulbs.
