Will these (Infinity Reference Series Multi-Element 6" X 9" Coaxial Speakers, Model 6952I)
fit in 97 3.0 due to the way the trunk closes ? Anyone know of the quality of these speakers?

I have the 6953i Reference Series (3-way speakers). My uncle (who runs an install shop in PA) installed these for me. He said that the fit was tight, but he got them in. They sound fantastic, and there's no interference with the trunk bar. I believe the 6952i are the same size. Good luck!

 

i have infinity reference 6"x9" in there (97 2.2)
they will hit the two metel bars but will fit.
if you want to get rid of the chance of distortion put dyno mat between back of magnet and trunk poles
but trunk closes fine
